Safety at every level!!!
The training was conducted by experienced paramedics from the editors of the World of Printing Professional, who discussed the most important principles of providing assistance in life-threatening situations in an accessible yet very professional manner. We learned how to respond in an emergency, practiced cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the operation of an automated external defibrillator (AED).
An added value to the training was also the initiative to support a little boy - Simon, who was born with a rare genetic disease - Angelman syndrome. The course fee was used to help with his rehabilitation and daily functioning. We are happy that we were able to combine the acquisition of knowledge with real support for someone who needs it.
We were also inspired by the idea of responsibility - not only for ourselves, but also for others. For this reason, in March this year, an AED defibrillator appeared on the printing house building.
This is an important step not only for our employees, but also for the entire local community. Thanks to this initiative, the defibrillator will also be available to local residents and anyone traveling on the DK53 national road, which runs in the immediate vicinity of the plant.
We are proud to make a real contribution to improving safety in our neighborhood. We believe that responsibility and knowledge are the key to effective assistance - and that each of us can save a life.
